Scripts-MySQL, ASP.net, Php

• In order to move server locations, you need to make sure your existing scripts are compatible with your new site. Things to look for are :
• If you use php, CGI, Perl or ASP , make sure that your new web host supports it. On php, make sure they support all the php functions and make sure they have all the Perl
• Modules that you need to use . Many scripts need Mysql, so check to see if they support that as well.

Backup- Save your data on a regular basis.

• Save ALL of your information on disk, including scripts. This should actually be done on a regular basis not only at the critical time when you decide to move server locations. If you have difficulty doing this, there are services that can handle this task for a small fee.
